BelgiumEsperanto  [ Edit ]  Read or Write a Review(0)
...Esperanto is a language, but not of any country or ethnic group: it is a neutral, international language.

Esperanto is most useful for neutral communication. That means that communication through Esperanto does not give advantages to the members of any particular people or culture, but provides an ethos of equality of rights, tolerance and true internationalism. This can be seen in many diverse situations: international meetings, books, magazines, music, the Internet of course, and often also in private and family life.

A knowledge of Esperanto makes it much easier to learn other foreign languages, and there is some evidence that it is actually more efficient to learn Esperanto first, before learning other languages, rather than to study foreign languages directly. For example, one may become more fluent in French by first studying Esperanto for 6 months and then studying French for a year and a half, rather than studying French for two continuous years. The reason may be that Esperanto's regular grammar and word formation and flexible syntax makes it easier to understand other languages' grammar and rules....

MexicoThe Obese Manuel Uribe  [ Edit ]  Read or Write a Review(0)

Even the open road isn't big enough to handle Uribe's lard ass. That mountain of fat couldn't get under an overpass.
Remember, this is other peoples fault!!!!!
He enjoys being bedridden, relying on his mother and friends to feed and clean him....

United StatesBirthdays Without Pressure  [ Edit ]  Read or Write a Review(0)
...Birthdays Without Pressure is taking aim at the oneupsmanship that drives moms and dads to throw parties that will really, really impress the kids and the other parents, too.

Among its suggestions for more modest, stress-free party planning: Hold gift-free parties, with a note on the invitation that says any presents will be donated to charity; eliminate theme parties and gift bags for the guests; instead of organizing elaborate activities, let kids play outside or hold a treasure hunt; and invite children only, not their parents as well.

What the members want, they say, is a general agreement that not every party has to be more memorable than the last....
